What is a Profile?

Users can create either a Buyer Profile (in order to post projects) and/or a Provider Profile (in order to place bids on projects).
User is allowed to have both a Buyer and Provider Profile. A Provider for example might want to sun-contract the project to another Provider - and therefore have both a Provider Profile (original contract) and Buyer Profile (for sub-contracting).
A registered user is allowed to have multiple profiles for either a Buyer or Provider, in order to separate the jobs posted by different departments (buyers) or highlight their specific skill sets (providers).
